Using Stini
These Terms of Service govern your use of Stini, an iOS utility for personal records and date calculations. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
The license for the app distributed through the App Store is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, where applicable. These terms supplement that license and do not replace mandatory App Store terms.
What the app provides
Stini lets you record how long something has been part of your life, track warranties and expiration dates, and keep maintenance and subscription dates with recurring cycles. You can add notes and a photo, search and filter records, and use date difference, date calculation, age calculation, and countdown tools.
Subscription records are entries you create to track dates. Stini does not purchase, renew, cancel, or manage the underlying subscription for you. Similarly, a maintenance entry does not schedule a service, and a warranty entry does not establish or extend coverage. Stini does not currently send reminder notifications.
Your records and responsibilities
You are responsible for the dates and other information you enter and for checking results before relying on them. Recurring dates, warranty periods, and age calculations depend on your inputs and calendar calculations. Actual contractual dates and service schedules may differ.
Stini is a personal organizational aid. Its results do not establish legal deadlines, warranty rights, payment obligations, or professional advice. Verify consequential dates with the relevant provider or authority.
Only add photos, notes, and other content that you have the right to use. Do not use the app unlawfully or attempt to interfere with its operation.
Content and permissions
You retain your rights in the photos and notes you add. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Stini.
Voice input is optional and requires microphone and speech recognition permission. Apple’s speech service may be unavailable or produce errors. Review dictated text before saving. Keyboard entry remains available if you decline permission.
You may edit or delete records in the app. Deletion requires confirmation and cannot be undone through a Stini recovery feature. Review the selected record before confirming.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the information involved in records, optional photo and speech features, and support correspondence. Please review it to understand these practices and your choices.
App ownership
The Stini name, app design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the app gives you no ownership rights in those materials. You may use the app under the applicable license. Any restrictions on copying, modification, or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Availability and limitations
We may update features or correct errors over time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations, or compatibility with every future device or operating system. Features that depend on system permissions or Apple services are subject to their availability.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Stini is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on incorrect entries, missed dates, or unavailable features. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
Changes and discontinuing use
You may stop using Stini at any time. We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The revised terms will show a new date on this page, with additional notice where required. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
